We are Carlos, Jesus and Charles - two brothers and their best friend. Born and raised in Venezuela, and living in Germany for many years.
What connects us is a long friendship, real hospitality experience and different life paths - and that is exactly where our signature comes from: street and discipline, intuition and technique.
What drives us is the love of good food and the wish to create something you do not just taste, but feel. Flavours that move your mind - that make you close your eyes for a moment and ask: where does that come from?
WHAT IS MOSTROS?
The name "Mostros" comes from South American slang and describes someone extraordinary - unique, simply a "monster". For us, it is a nickname we have used with each other for years.
And there is more behind it: our kitchen is inspired by global folklore - where monsters do not stand for fear, but for creativity, change and joy. In Venezuela, figures such as the Diablos Danzantes are part of living traditions. In many Asian cultures, masked beings and mythical figures celebrate that same energy: loud, diverse and full of life.
We bring that feeling to the plate - every dish connects cultures and flavours. MOSTROS is fusion cuisine where Latin American, Mediterranean and Asian flavours come together in new dishes - creative, ambitious and always searching for balance. Above all, for UMAMI, which ties all the senses together.
OUR RESTAURANT CONCEPT
Everything is homemade: from sauces and marinades to our lemonades - every detail matters. The foundation is street-inspired, while the execution is shaped by technique and precision. Our dishes are intentionally para compartir: made for sharing.
MOSTROS is a place to discover, enjoy and have fun together - a little wild, very warm, and always aiming for you to leave saying: that was MOSTROS.
